EMERCOM of Russia Is Ready to Further Cooperation and Experience Exchange with Colleagues from Portugal. Further Initiatives of Russian-Portugal Cooperation in the Field of Civil Protection, Emergencies Prevention and Elimination Were Discussed

Today, VI Joint Commission of Russian-Portugal Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economy and Science and Technique Cooperation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Portugal started working in Kazan. On the first day, thematic sessions of work groups of the bilateral forum passed. They concerned the cooperation in the field of civil protection, emergency situations prevention and liquidation. The session is held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Manager of the Department of International Affairs of EMERCOM of Russia, Aleksey Avdeev, from the Russian side, and Deputy Manager of the Department of Planning Actions in Emergency Situations of the National Service for Civil Protection of the Republic of Portugal, Jose Oliveiru, from the Portuguese side.
