Today, tactic drills on alerting to actions as intended in peacetime and wartime have begun for employees of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as for territorial departments and subordinated institutions. The main aim of the drills is increasing the training level of the staff of the Headquarters and the Ministry on switching to work in conditions of wartime. The drills’ program is intended for three days.

That was told at a briefing organized for the media at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan, by the Main State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for fire supervision, Sergey Sergeev. Also, the briefing was attended by representatives from other republican ministries which were responsible for the organization of holiday events for Tatarstanians and the capital’s visitors.

Incidents as of January 9:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 49 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 21, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 6, cooperation with other services – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires, including residential sector – 2, outhouses – 1, various types of property – 3, vehicles – 2.
