Within the Year of civil defense announced in the system of Emercom of Russia in Cheboksary the meeting of veterans of saving departments of three neighboring republics – Chuvashia, Mari El and Tatarstan has taken place.

On the gulf at a monument – a republic symbol – "Mother Patroness" of guests was celebrated the first deputy chief of the Head department of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia in Chuvashia by the colonel of internal service Herman Mikhaylov, the chairman of the board of veterans of Emercom of Russia of the Volga Federal District lieutenant general in resignation Pyotr Tretyakov, the head of Council of veterans of Emercom of Russia of the Chuvash Republic lieutenant colonel of internal service in resignation Georgy Fadeyev and veterans-firemen.

Incidents as of August 10:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 48 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 22, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 4. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: residential sector -1, outhouses – 2, garden houses -1, different form of property - 2. One person was injured.

Causes: an arson – 1, violation of electric equipment construction and use rules – 2, violation of furnace construction and use rules – 2, careless fire use – 2.

Departures of fire departments for rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 4 times.

Departures of voluntary fire protection units on firefighting – 2.

Departures of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 8 times. Including doors unlocking – 4, the others – 4. Preventive works – 12.
