Today, students of the Kazan school No. 42 visited the 112 republican emergency call service. The children saw the job of operators of the 112 system’s duty dispatch service’s calls receiving center ‘from inside’, and learned a lot of interesting about capabilities and functional predestination of the 112 emergency call service. The service manager, Olga Lozovaya, told the children about the service’s operation.

The project was organized within the Year of Civil Defense in the system of EMERCOM of Russian and before the Rescuer’s Day of the Russian Federation, the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and the ‘Telesem’ (Kazan) magazine’s editorial office. The organizers want to show readers of the Woman’s Day internet edition that not only brave and courageous, but also clever and beautiful women work in the emergency department.

The winner of the interregional stage of IХ All-Russian ‘Courage Constellation’ Festival in the nomination of ‘Peer Into Hero’s Face’ photo contest, own photojournalist in Kazan of the regional department of ‘Russia Today’ news agency, Maksim Bogodvid, will represent Tatarstan at the awards ceremony, which will take place in Moscow on December 4. One of his work series showed in the contest is called ‘Faces of Heroes’. On his photos there are firefighters and rescuers, whose life is a real feat in the name of rescuing those who got into trouble.
