Characteristic Incidents for the Last Day

Incidents as of May 14:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 79 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 25, false alarms – 32, singed meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 3 fires, 2 of them in residential sector.

Causes are: defect in vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1, careless handling of fire – 1, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 6 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 7 times. Including: door unblocking – 1, traffic accident – 2, others – 3, searching for a lost person – 1.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for RT warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.
