Sharp Warming Adjusts Ice Passages Functioning

Inspectors of the Center of GIMS EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan conduct technical examinations at all acting ice passages, today; according to their results they will make a decision about the expediency of natural roads on the Volga and Kama rivers. According to the Chief of People’s Safety Department on Water Bodies of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Yuri Venediktov, the sharp warming, as well as continuing positive temperatures in the daytime and at night influences on the ice strength on ice passages, ice-slick appears and melt water accumulates.
