Preparations for floods and natural fires in the Volga Federal District were discussed at a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission

On March 16, 2022, a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on the Protection of People and Territories from Emergencies and Fire Safety was held under the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, which was held by Deputy Plenipotentiary Igor Panshin via videoconference. The meeting participants considered issues of ensuring the safe passage of spring flood and flood, as well as the protection of settlements, economic facilities and social infrastructure from natural fires, identified approaches and main areas of activity, including taking into account the experience of the regions of the Volga Federal District.
