Interdepartmental raids as part of operation «Zhilische» («Housing»)
During the last two weeks, employees of the inter-district department of supervision and preventive work in the Alkeevsk and Spassk municipal districts together with employees of the social service center "Zabota", LLC "Gazprom transgaz Kazan" conducted preventive raids on the places of residence of families belonging to the "risk group", to check the state of fire safety of housing. The most vulnerable segments of the population are disadvantaged citizens, large families, elderly citizens living alone and persons with disabilities.
Such interdepartmental preventive raids have already become a tradition, but their purpose remains unchanged - the prevention of fires and the death of people on them. Since the bulk of the housing stock is in the private sector, the fires in the area are most often due to violations of the rules of the device and operation of heating and electrical equipment.
Special emphasis on the officer of the Ministry made on children playing with fire. Residents were handed memos and leaflets, which spelled out the most important and necessary safety rules, phone numbers of all emergency services of the district, including fire protection.
During the interdepartmental raid, Autonomous fire detectors were installed in dysfunctional families’ houses with children.
