Inspectors of SISV recommend to fans of ice fishing to finish the season
Quick warming, round-the-clock “+” temperatures and the spring sun force the reservoirs of the Republic to get rid of the ice shell as soon as possible. The beds of many small and medium-sized rivers have already opened from the ice. However, some extreme anglers are still "trading" with fate, driven by their passion for the very dangerous spring ice. To slightly "sober up" their consciousness, employees of the center SISV of EMERCOM of Russia across the Republic of Tatarstan daily carry out preventive raids. Today outreach was conducted by the inspection staff of the Kazan branch of the Centre of SISV on the waters of the river Kazanka.
- Almost all of the Kazanka riverbed has already broken out of the ice, - said the head inspector of the Kazan branch of the Centre of SISV Ganeev Marat. - Ice formations still remain in the bays. And although the thickness of the ice there is kept at 50 cm, but it has become loose and fragile. At any time, the ice can crumble under your feet and is a great danger. So far, thank God, in Kazan since the beginning of the year none of the fishermen were injured.
