Employees of the EMERCOM took part in the military parade of the Kazan garrison in honor of the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War
In Kazan, the solemn events began on May 9 at 10.00 on Millennium Square with the formation of the personnel of the troops of the Kazan garrison. They culminated in a military parade. The parade crew of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was headed by a banner group with the banner of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, which was presented in February 2012.
As part of the festive event, the solemn passage of the troops of the Kazan garrison took place. On the square in front of the Kazan Kremlin, columns of military units of the Kazan garrison, the Main Department of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, customs, cadets of the Unarmia, students of military departments of universities, as well as Afghan soldiers and participants in other local wars and conflicts lined up.
On behalf of the State Council and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov cordially congratulated war veterans, home front workers, and military personnel of the Kazan garrison on the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Military personnel and employees of the Federal Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia marched in a single formation on Svobody Square. Also, military equipment of the war years, as well as modern equipment – armored vehicles, armored personnel carriers and "KAMAZ" - passed through the Millennium Square.
Participation in the parade of retro cars in honor of Victory Day is the most honorable reason for the "auto-aksakal" of the fire department to take off from the pedestal and go on a flight.
