The Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for Small Vessels, Yuri Venediktov, made such an appeal today during a media briefing. At a meeting with journalists, the deputy head of the territorial body of the Main Department of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan reported on measures to ensure safety on the water during the swimming season.
Officially, the swimming season in the Republic of Tatarstan opened on June 1, but in fact, Tatarstan residents opened it in mid-May, when it was not quite the usual hot spring heat. And, unfortunately, the list of victims of the water disaster in the period from 11 to 29 May has already added five people. These are exactly those who have bathed for the last time in their lives in places that are not equipped for this purpose. Three more people, including one teenager, were rescued.
Dear parents! Please do not let the children go alone to the reservoirs. During the summer holidays, try to organize the rest of the children by sending them to children's health camps, to school camps, do not leave the children unattended.
When you plan to go on vacation to the reservoir, choose only equipped beaches with rescue posts, where there are rescuers and medical personnel ready to help, - said the Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for small vessels.
Yuri Venediktov also said that a total of 40 beaches are registered in the SISV.
