In a single bundle: in Nizhnekamsk, the strongest fighters of the "fire special forces" of the EMERCOM of Russia were revealed at the All-Russian competitions

    On July 29, the results of the final stage of the All-Russian review competition for the title "The best link of the gas and smoke protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia 2022" were summed up in Nizhnekamsk of the Republic of Tatarstan. This category of firefighters is rightfully considered a special purpose group, because it works in the very epicenter of the fire element. 
    Competitions among the elite of Russian fire departments were held at the training ground of the fire and rescue unit No. 33 of Nizhnekamsk for three days.
Nine winning teams of regional competitions in federal districts took part in the fight for the main prize. The honor of the Volga Federal District was to be defended by the team of the fire and rescue unit No. 62 for the protection of the city of Nizhnekamsk.
    In order to determine the level of theoretical knowledge, each participant had to answer 5 theoretical questions and solve 1 problem for a certain time. The time to complete the exercise is no more than 10 minutes. Penalty time is charged for each incorrect answer. 
    On the second day, the participants held training sessions for passing practical stages.
And finally, on July 29, the most fascinating and spectacular part of the competition took place - the performance of practical tasks. The fire special forces began to overcome the distance in turn, consisting of five stages.
    The best time – 12 minutes 59 seconds - was shown by the team of the fire and rescue unit No. 62 for the protection of Nizhnekamsk. The second were representatives of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Chelyabinsk region. The link of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia in Primorsky Krai closed the top three winners.
