Opening of the XVIII All-Russian Fire and rescue sports competitions for the Cup of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan: waiting for new records
The opening ceremony of the XVIII All-Russian Fire and Rescue sports competitions for the Cup of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan took place in Kazan today. The event was held in the training arena of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The geography of participants is traditionally extensive. Within three days, 18 teams from the constituent entities of the Russian Federation are fighting for victory in these competitions. Also, these competitions are qualifiers before the Championship of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, which will be held in March this year here, in the city of Kazan.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, competitions were held among women in climbing the assault ladder, which were brilliantly won by Gayane Akopova, a representative of the Kirov Region team.
The competition will last three days, on Friday, January 20, the winners and prize-winners of the tournament will be awarded, both in individual and team competitions.
