On the eve of their professional holiday - the Day of Fire Protection of Russia, which marks 375 years this year, Zelenodolsk firefighters held a solemn event on the territory of 52 fire and rescue units.

A solemn event dedicated to the 375th anniversary of the Russian fire department took place in the capital of the oil region of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the colorful ceremony, the management of PJSC TATNEFT presented a luxurious gift - 11 new fire trucks to the combat fire and rescue units of the FPS GPS - Almetyevsk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Management of Contractual Divisions of the FPS GPS in the Republic of Tatarstan."

In honor of the 40th anniversary of the founding of the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in the republic, a creative competition "Near water without trouble" was organized among pupils of preschool educational organizations in Kazan. Incidents for April 25: fire departments of the republic went on alarm 35 times. Firefighters of the republic liquidated 6 fires, of which 3 fires in residential buildings (structures) and outbuildings.

Such information was voiced today during a scheduled meeting of the Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergencies and Ensuring Fire Safety of the Republic of Tatarstan, at which the issue "On readiness for the prevention and elimination of natural fires in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan" was considered.

Improve the skills of extinguishing wildfires and work out the interaction of fire guards and forestry workers in the elimination of fires and fires in forests - these were the main goals of the exercises organized in the Zelenodolsk forestry. Such trainings are held annually, and, as a rule, in the spring-summer period - the time when the fire hazard increases significantly in the forests.
